Methodology

EACH STUDENT IS UNIQUE. SO ARE THEIR LEARNING PATH AND EXPERIENCE.

In order to lead our students to their highest potential, we developed a learning facilitation method that allows our students to tailor their learning path every trimester according to their own strengths, needs and interests, by mixing two units of their choice: a Technology Unit (12 hours long instructor-led classroom learning) and a Vocational Unit (12 hours long project and problem based learning), in a total of 24 learning hours every 3 months, (2 hours per week)

Since we believe in positive reinforcement in learning, our students are also entitled weekly to points that can be exchanged for an extra hour of fun and technology-based experiences.

It is given that technology is changing our lives and the world of work.
That is the reason why we believe that no one can be over-prepared to act, to do and to think digital, in order to succeed in the future.

These units are instructor-led classroom learning units (11 students per class) that are aimed to develop Technology Readiness for the future.
Every trimester, a student can choose a new Technology Unit, by propelling to a more advanced approach of an already learned skill, or changing their scope of skills, based on their needs and interests.

These are some of the available TEC units:

These are project and problem based learning units, in which our students are challenged individually to apply their skills in a variety of job contexts.

Each student should choose a new Vocational Unit every 3 months, by moving on to a more challenging problem of the same job specialisation or to explore new scopes of skills that are applied in a different job context.

By applying their skills to solve different problems that they are challenged to face, our students are also developing soft skills, such as creativity, curiosity, critical problem-solving and self-confidence.

The Vocational Units take place on the Classroom of the Future by Assembly, designed and equipped to cope with a wide range of job skills, which is organized in 4 functional sections:

/ INVESTIGATE & DEVELOP
(equipped with high-end computers, software and internet)

/ BUILD & CONTROL
(designed for robotic and mechatronic based projects)

/ CREATE & EDIT
(our own video and sound studio)

/ PRESENT & SHARE
(exchange area for learning insights, for intimate sharing sessions in roundtable or larger audience presentations up to 30 seats).
